Goals.
Core is a company to guide you into learning technology. Although we cover a wide variety, we don’t know it all. We will try to meet your concerns and questions as best as we can, but we’re not superman you know. So please, bare with us if we have to double check ourselves as we want to make sure what we are teaching you is correct.
Classes.
If you would like to extend your class, you may if we have nothing else coming up that would interfere. If you need to change it please try to let us know within 48 hours of your appointment so we can be kind and accommodate everyone else as well. Classes can be scheduled for up to 3 hours at a time. If you do not use up all the time, you will not be charged for the remaining scheduled time.
Extensions.
If you do request to extend your class, please state so within the last 10 minutes of the class and again, we will try to accommodate but can not promise in case of another class. Classes will only be allowed 5 min overage at max to wrap up the class, if needed. Please plan to be wrapping up five (5) min prior to the end of your class. If you extend your class one (1) minute after the hour pass, you will be charged another hour. Ex: 11:00 - 12:00 class, at 12:01, another hour will be charged.
Rates.
Since all classes are flat rates, the ending the class early by suggestion of trainer or student will not make the rate any lower, so please use up your time! Have any questions you’d like answered written down prior to the class if you know them ahead of time. Were here for you so get the most out of us that you can!
Groups.
Groups are allowed up to five (5) individuals per group. For personal groups, group classes are up to an hour max. Business groups are allowed up to twenty five (25) per topic, but if you have more then twenty five (25) employees they will be given schedules of which group will be attending class through out the day. Group classes are allowed one (1) hour max per session, per group. Business groups are at different rates based on how many attendees, but up to five (5) will be the normal rate. Groups will be for the most part based on a script, and are not intended to be a one on one personal class, but 10 min at the end will be used for general questions.
Referrals.
Referrals are only valid for the approprite discount offered if the referee and referral has both "liked" and or "shared" the Core. facebook page and the referral has taken at least one (1) paid class.
Skype/Google Hangouts.
Skype/Google Hangouts calls are allowed up to thirty (30) min at max and are meant for quick help or walk throughs to do something we might have gone over in a class and need a quick refresh or a little “push” to help get it. The best use for this would be social networking. But, if you would rather take a full hour course using this method, no problem! Just let us know you would like to do your class via skype or google hangouts.
F.A.Q’s
Q - Why don’t you offer workshops on Android?
A - We promise there is a good reason. Since most Androids all have multiple differences we aren’t able to teach just one universal type of class, as one feature might be there for one person and not for another. We just don’t want anyone getting confused or mislead. If you would like to learn Android that you and a friend have and want to know how to make it more fun and interesting for each other or a group of you, let me know and I will make it happen as long as they all have the same device. For example, if you just got the new Samsung Galaxy S5™ and want to know how to use the S Beam, Group Play, Remote, etc. with a few friends or your partner, we can arrange that.
Q - Do you accept credit and debit cards?
A - Yes! We use a service called Square. There is no additional fee to use this, and we accept all major credit cards. All payments must be signed for.
Q - Do you accept PayPal?
A- Not yet, but we will announce when we do!
